The Journal of Agricultural Research, Development, Extension and Technology (JARDET) is the official scientific journal published by the University of Southern Mindanao through the Publications and Printing Unit.  

Focus and Scope

JARDET is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research in agriculture and its allied fields including but not limited to including but not limited to crop science, biological sciences, animal and veterinary sciences, fisheries and aquaculture, agricultural extension and other related social sciences, development economics and agribusiness, and agricultural technology and innovation.

JARDET accepts original research papers, short communications, and review articles written in the English language. The journal welcomes submissions from all sectors: authors, scientists, researchers, and faculty members from various institutions and agencies. 

One issue is published annually. For each issue, two calls for articles will be publicized in April and August. Papers accepted for publication are continuously published through the journal website. The annual issue containing the accepted article is printed at the end of the year.

JARDET provides open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports greater global exchange of knowledge. The Publisher applies Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) license to all published manuscripts. 

Archiving Policy

To ensure that all articles will be permanently preserved and available, copies of articles published in JARDET are deposited in electronic format into Zenodo.

Authors of published articles in JARDET are entitled to deposit published papers in institutional and/or centrally organized repositories, provided JARDET is attributed as the original place of publication and that correct citation details are given.

Advertising Policy

JARDET does not endorse or accept any product or service for advertisement.
