Publication Ethics and Malpractice

JARDET is committed to upholding the integrity of scientific publication. The ethics and publication malpractice statement of JARDET is based on the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), available at www.publicationethics.org. This journal follows the COPE Core Practices, available at  https://publicationethics.org/core-practices .

In accordance with the COPE, ethical oversight observed by JARDET includes, but is not limited to, policies on consent to publication, publication on vulnerable populations, ethical conduct of research using animals, ethical conduct of research using human subjects, handling confidential data and of business/marketing practices”.

Policies on Data Sharing and Reproducibility

If the article has accompanying supplementary file/s, a subsection ‘Supplementary Information’ is added after the Conclusion, specifying the link where the data is available. This is a section of the manuscript where interested readers go to locate the data, whether to verify those claims written in the manuscript or to utilize the data for further research.

Authors are allowed to disseminate their work after publication, but they must acknowledge that it was initially published in JARDET.

Journal's Options For Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections

Concerns about the published articles should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief. Editors are in charge of any author-requested revisions. Errata, corrigenda, and retraction can be used to remedy any errors or faults detected in the publication after the request has been accepted.

Corrections are strictly limited to, for example, errors of spelling and phrasing that affect meaning, data errors, or mis-citations.

In case of retraction, COPE’s Retraction Guidelines are followed. The article will not be downloadable as a file. Instead, a ‘Publisher’s Note’ will be added to the article title linking readers to the retraction notice.

Journal’s Policy on Intellectual Property

JARDET requires authors to make their article open access under one of the Creative Commons Licenses in order to meet the terms of open access publication and ensure the widest possible dissemination. JARDET authors are required to agree to our license to publish when submitting their work.
