The Journal of Agricultural Research, Development, Extension and Technology (JARDET) is the official agricultural research journal published by the University of Southern Mindanao through the Publication and Printing Unit.

Focus and Scope
JARDET is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research in agriculture and its allied fields, including but not limited to:
- Crop Sciences
- Biological Sciences
- Animal, Fisheries and Veterinary Sciences
- Agricultural Extension and other related Social Sciences
- Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness
- Agricultural Engineering, Technology, and Innovation.
JARDET accepts original research papers, short communications, and review articles written in the English language. The journal welcomes submissions from all sectors: authors, scientists, researchers, and faculty members from various institutions and agencies in the Philippines and abroad.

About the Cover:
Lady beetle (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae), a beneficial insect, is one of nature's important predators of aphids, coccids, and other soft-bodied crop pests, making it a valuable biological control agent in any agricultural ecosystem. Unfortunately, lady beetles are often overlooked and can be unintentionally affected by the indiscriminate use of broad-spectrum synthetic insecticides. Conserving these natural enemies is an important step toward reducing reliance on chemical pest control and promoting more sustainable agriculture.
